R&D

REOFTech R&D Program

REOFTech’s R&D program began in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic as a potential source of revenue, diversification and to channel our creative and technical abilities.

Since then, our company has been fortunate enough to have received an NIH/NIA award for our research and development efforts to innovate within the software, agetech and Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementia industry.

We have also been supported by a substantial number of accelerator and technical assistance programs, some of them funded by NSF (I-Corps), NIH (grant technical assistance programs) and state level research institutions (Pre-18 and Bioleap). We are thankful to those entities who have supported us and continue to do so.

These experiences led us to spin-off this technology to a new company. Stay tuned for more information on that.

Current research efforts

Our main goal for our current research efforts is to leverage our R&D and grant funding expertise to improve key issues that we care about and see long-term future potential.
With EC-Safety, our main goal is to “revolutionize the Alzheimer’s caregiving experience.”

Our current a2collective grant funded by NIH/NIA: “Towards an AI-based care plan for ADRD Caregiver-Patient Dyads.”

For more information regarding EC-Safety product development efforts please visit our site (www.ec-safety.com) for regular updates. For partnership, commercial and/or investment opportunities with EC-Safety, please email antonio@ec-safety.com.

Data Sharing and Dissemination Policy

REOFTech is committed to sharing non confidential and non proprietary relevant data for research purposes as a contribution to the agetech industry.
Our current research efforts may produce valuable information some of which may be shared through our current and future dissemination efforts. Any data sharing efforts with a public health purpose may be shared in the future after careful analysis and approvals from relevant parties regarding intellectual property rights.
Please reach out to us if you have any potential research collaboration ideas and/or platforms we may be able to leverage in a win-win environment: antonio@ec-safety.com.
