Defense, Security, and Cybersecurity The US Department of Defense (DoD), SBIR/STTR program is quite innovative and entities such as the US Air Force continue to innovate and design new ways of delivering the SBIR/STTR programs through customer discovery and the AFWERXs program. Other agencies such as the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) fund significant programs in the intersection of biotechnology, health, and national security. We have also performed work for the Advanced Research Projects Agency - Energy (ARPA-E) and other state energy programs such as BRIDGE 2020 funded by the California Energy Commission (CEC). We have also worked with venture capitalists and family offices in this space and are proud of the quality work we have produced in this practice area. Some clients have requested work with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) SBIRs as well which we have also performed in the intersection between energy, atmospheric data, data science, and software.
